Logos, wow these are simple huh
There is only so much you can say about logos getting more simple. Lots of older logos seem to be going for as much detail as possible so they can be as different as possible. I don’t think this is always a good thing, bring able to communicate a brand identity in as little strokes possible accurately is the goal in my eyes
Wow it’s so simple now… it looks cool.
It has become a trend for many companies to start simplifying there logos but why did this trend start and what dose it all mean? I believe that this trend has picked up because cleaner and simpler can mean elegant and more important. This hasn’t only been a trend in the web design world of in fashion, interior design, and even beauty.
As an art student there are many exercises done to improve your own work. One of these exercises are, making a replication of a painting you have finished and spent a lot of time on. The catch is you have to replicate it with the biggest brush you have. Once the student dose this many think the painting looks better this way. I feel the same thing is being done in the design industry. Simpler and cleaner is better only if you can communicate the personality of your brand correctly.

Designers replaced by Adobe
Adobe has been the gold stander software for years in the design industry. Designers have studied and used Adobe products for hundreds of hours and are now being replaced by Adobe themselves by making final products accessible to the common man by using AI. I believe this means that there will soon only be designers for bigger organizations but no longer ones for small business. This is because they have access to AI that can create, media that is “good enough.” Bigger companies will pay for creative, innovative, and special design that only humans can create but the smaller businesses don’t need that and know they don’t need to hire anyone when they can create all their media for their company using AI and increase their own profit margin.

Going back to Santo Domingo
Where
Santo Domingo is the Capital of the Dominican Republic, my father grew up there and my mother lived a couple hours away. Going to the country where my parents grew up is something I would to do more often if I could. Most of my extended family lives there and being close to my culture is a rarity, so I always cherish it.

Why is Adobe in love with AI?
When Adobe first implemented AI tools, I thought the purpose was to make the work of artists faster. Now Adobe has moved into the space of generating the finished produced not just fast-forwarding the process. The tool that is the gold standard in almost every industry has cut out the designers and workers. Adobe has replacing its users with AI so the common man can use it instead. Having the widest range of accessibility creates a bigger market for Adobe. Everything will always be about profit and AI is the new buzz word that makes every company millions and makes eveything accsesable for all skill levels.
